Jumpingpound Loop Trail Run

Wow… with 21 people coming out to run tonight it seemed a little overwhelming but with a trail like Jumpingpound it’s pretty straight forward so no one was lost. The weather was awesome the sun was out and so were the mosquitos and they were very hungry. The fast group ran the whole loop and the slower group turned around at about 30 minutes. Some of the usual suspects were out and we had a few new people out to the group as well. I was wearing my Montrail Mountain Masochist trail shoes and they were excellent.

Only one crash tonight our long time member Brit took a header down the trail and escaped with a few cuts, scraps and bruises. We hope she is okay and recovers quickly… I’m sure she will be stiff tomorrow. Sorry Brit.

Phil and I biked the trail before running it to make sure it was clear of trees and snow but the trail is in great condition.

Next week the trail run is cancelled on Tuesday night but it will resume June 16th see you there.
