Raw food is just what it says not cooked. Why raw food? Raw food is alkaline and the more you can keep your body alkaline the better you will feel and the faster you will recover from activities. Going 100% raw is insane and can really affect your social life.

I would recommend 80% raw if you want to try it but don’t go cold turkey as you will have crazy side affects from cutting all your usual food from your diet. If you want to try it just try adding a green shake for breakfast (recipe in recipe section) and a big salad for lunch with or without some meat protein and slowly cancel the meat protein and replace it with hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, chia seeds and whatever else you like on your salad. Try and use balsamic/vinegar dressing to start or you can make your own. (recipes in recipe section)

The nice thing about eating 80% raw is if you want to have beer or a steak for dinner go ahead and the next day start with a green shake and you are starting another day eating raw.

A good book to check out for more information is The Thrive Diet by Brandon Brazier.

If you have any questions on eating raw post a question.

Check out the recipes in the recipe section.
